I’ve been seeing a new man for a couple weeks. He’s driven 3 hours to see me, 3 weekends in a row.
(he plays guitar) - yesterday he asked if he could see Rick’s guitars. After looking at the guitars, I got out what’s left our pocket knife collection and we looked through it. While we did all that, we talked about general stuff - what I’m trying to say is we weren’t talking about Rick. Out of nowhere, he looked at me and in a very sincere voice said, “Your husband…he must have been a really cool person huh?”
what a great thing for him to say… especially considering it was only the night before that I told him the short version of how Rick died.
so yeh - impressed and touched me in a big way.
Haven’t said much about him - here or in the real world. I’ll talk more about him and us sometime soon- treading lightly right now because I don’t wanna jinx anything. Yes, I’m very superstitious that way. lol
