The pipe coming into the shower, where you attach a shower head. I found this(below) glued in the end of it. No wonder the water pressure sucked so bad, it had to go through that tiny little hole.

WE tv ran a John Edward (the psychic medium) marathon today. I tuned in while I worked around the house. When I stopped for a smoke I heard the date “October 25″ given to the audience. Got my attention because it’s the day Rick died.
I started thinking about him, and the signs I used to get- little things whispering reassurance, letting me know he was still around even if I couldn’t see him.
They happen less and less as time goes by.
(I called out to him in my head, “Rick…been so long since I’ve heard from you…I wonder if you can still hear me… need to know you’re still here…still close by…please”)
I glanced back at the TV, John Edward walked on stage and gave the following information -
“I have someone who died in a car wreck. The name is Rick or Richard.”
He scans the audience.
“And the name Haywood.”
A few people stand.
“..and the name Thomas. or Tom.”
“There’s also a suicide - someone related to this has taken their own life.”
I think my jaw hit the floor as I sat back down.
Oct. 25 - the day Rick died
death in car wreck - having the name Richard or Rick
Haywood - Tom Haywood - this is the name of the attorney who represented Rick in his divorce
and a suicide by someone within the family - Rick’s dad killed himself when Rick was 17.
He does hear me…
and he still answers.
miss him so much.
best part - the DVR recorded it all.
Singles profiles…if it has “rick” in the user name, I click it every time. I know it’s not - it can’t be -
but I hear a quiet whisper -
maybe….
1. It’s an idea - propaganda spewed forth for dramatic effect. It’s usually said in reference to police officers. This time the reference was to prison guards. 2 parts - 1. the proclamation that cops (and prison guards) risk their lives every single day; 2. pushing the idea that all cops are heroes simply for reporting to work.
Law Enforcement is actually one of the safest professions in the US.
‘risk their lives every day’? Let’s see…a kid who’s ass is shipped to and then shot off in Iraq vs. writing a speeding ticket. HELLO?!!!! Over use lessens it’s meaning until the words mean nothing - and that’s so fucking disrespectful and unfair to the people who are truly deserving.
Yes law enforcement is an honorable profession. It’s also a career choice - they chose to become a cop. The majority choose to be cops because they’re drawn to the excitement (and power).
Take a look at your local police - the combination of protective gear, armored vehicles, and weapons keep them pretty damn safe.
Annoyance #2 - peeve. That word annoys me, which is why I’m calling these posts annoyances instead of pet ….
